Wild Love is created by hand in New Zealand by Naturopath and Medical Herbalist, Louise Garland. It all began when Louise made a jar of Kawakawa healing balm for a medicine making class at Naturopathic College, which was given to a friend to relieve her eczema. Word spread quickly and to this day, the balm continues to be held in high regard for its ability to heal and soothe numerous skin ailments, but also be used as a day-to-day hydrating balm especially during the change of seasons. Through this balm, Louise has come to learn and appreciate the incredible art of Rongoa Maori, a traditional practice of Maori medicine, and has gained the utmost respect for New Zealand's native Kawakawa.
