Rose water | Cinnamon | Clove
Traditionally served in tiny golden cups & sipped by the Mughal Queens of Northern India to cleanse the palate & freshen the breath.
Washing or rinsing the oral cavity has been prescribed by Ayurveda for thousands of years to both enliven the sensory organs, purify the mind and remove toxins from the mouth. We recommend this rosewater-based mouthwash be administered prior to your morning beauty ritual or before breakfast.
Scrape tongue using a copper tongue scraper from back to front, rinsing scraper between each stroke. Repeat until your tongue looks clean & free of coating. Finally, swish 15 ml of mukhwas around the mouth, diluted or neat (according to taste), gargle & expel.
The removal of toxins forming a white sticky coating on the tongue after sleep prevents their reabsorption back into the body. Often overlooked, cleaning the tongue provides a host of benefits ranging from balancing the heavy, dulling qualities of the Kapha dosha in our physiology, clearing halitosis (bad breath), increasing Agni (the body’s digestive fire) and boosting overall immune function.
